Staff: Alejandra Garcilazo

Alejandra (Honna) was born and raised in Umatilla, Oregon and moved to the Willamette Valley to attend Western Oregon University. She studied community health education with a minor in psychology. Honna has always been drawn to working with youth after witnessing firsthand the lack of help youth received in her hometown. She loves being a supportive, positive role model in the lives of the youth she serves here at Friends of the Children – Portland. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her son and family, hiking, reading and playing sports.
