Ambassador Board
The Ambassador Board is a group of young professionals who have committed themselves to raise awareness of the mission and goals of Friends of the Children through marketing, fundraising, and relationship building among the next generation of community supporters.
Friend Raiser Steering Committee
The Friend Raiser Steering Committee works collectively with the Development Department to produce a fundraising event that raises over $2 million once a year for Friends of the Children.
Marketing and PR Committee
The Marketing and PR Committee advises the organization on internal and external communication matters. The committee guides the preparation of an annual comprehensive communications plan, provides counsel on matters of interest to the media, offers feedback and direction for program promotion materials and coordinates periodic marketing and PR campaigns.
Development Committee
The Development Committee provides strategic direction and monitors the progress of annual fundraising. The committee recommends adding, deleting or changing fundraising activities when appropriate. The committee identifies prospective donors and major gift prospects.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews the financial operations of the organization, ensures that proper accounting controls are in place, reviews the annual audit and advises on the annual budget.
