Staff: Ciara Wade

Ciara is a Wisconsin-native, but has lived in Washington D.C., Boston, and San Francisco since graduating from college. She attended Taylor University for undergrad, and is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program at Reed College. She is thrilled to be a Portland transplant!

Ciara loves the deep commitment the Friends of the Children model offers—the opportunity to support children through such a long span of their lives is unique and transformational.

Ciara loves urban walks, forest hikes, quirky films and reading. She also enjoys cooking, weekend trips with her husband, and playing with her awesome cat, Soda Pop.
