Staff: Melissa Buxton

Melissa was born and raised in the PNW and has lived in the Portland metro area since 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from Simpson and her MBA from Pacific University. She's excited to rejoin FriendsPDX as she began her career here and first discovered she could meld her passion for children and her nerdy love of numbers. She's proud of FriendsPDX's long-term and holistic approach, recognizing and building on the unique gifts of each child.

She enjoys laughing with her family and friends, working on home reno projects, and reading.
