Staff: Monica Martinez-Animas

Monica (she/her) earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University. She has become a strong youth advocate through her work with Multnomah County’s Juvenile Justice Department as well as the Girl Scouts Beyond Bars Program. As a former Professional Mentor with FriendsPDX, she looks forward to continuing to support youth and families through our unique program that provides youth with amazing opportunities. (Let’s keep supporting youth, no matter what!) In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with friends, going to concerts, and traveling.
