Staff: Rivu Dasgupta

Rivu was born in Lubbock, Texas and moved to Dallas as a teenager. He's a proud alum of the University of Missouri (M-I-Z!) where he studied philosophy, psychology, and gender studies. In Portland he's found a place to call home, and he looks forward to being here for a good, long while.

Rivu loves the complete and total commitment to youth and how they’re truly at the center of everything Friends of the Children – Portland does.

He really enjoys all vehicles of storytelling. Graphic novels, television, film, video games, books small and large; there’s just so much good stuff out there! He also enjoys hiking with his wonderful partner and his miniature dachshund, Clementine, which is generally how he spends his weekends and summers.
