Staff: Trace Williams

Trace was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the Kendall College of Art & Design with a BFA in art education/illustration. Before moving to Portland, Trace was teaching art inside the classroom. Trace is excited to be living in Portland where the weather is more to their liking and all their favorite activities are in one place!

Trace most appreciates the emphasis on relationship building with youth here at FriendsPDX. When Trace was teaching, they found relationship building to be the most important step in helping students be successful in their classroom.

Outside of work, they enjoy making art, reading, exploring Portland (especially coffee shops), spending time in nature, and playing tabletop games with their friends.
