Calling All Alumni!

We are currently accepting applications for Friends of the Children—Portland alumni to become part of the inaugural Alumni Board for 2022-23. FriendsPDX is impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through one-to-one, long-term relationships with professional mentors. As a program alumni, we know you have direct insight to how the program runs and how we serve youth. Becoming a member of FriendsPDX Alumni Board provides you with a unique opportunity to:

• Contribute to the legacy of the organization
• Make a positive impact on and in the FriendsPDX community
• Connect and serve your FriendsPDX community
• Expand your network and meet people with similar interest and goals

The main purpose of the FriendsPDX Alumni Board is to keep track of the big picture of Friends of the Children, address issues or concerns, and develop strategies to address these concerns. It is important to uplift voices at the local level and to provide a setting in each organization for its constituencies’ interests to be addressed.
