She is thrilled to be a part of the FriendsPDX Board of Directors, working alongside other incredible, inspirational leaders who are committed to making this happen. Alexis Braly James is the Founder and CEO of Construct the Present. When asked “Why FriendsPDX?” Alexis shared, “I joined the FriendsPDX Board of Directors because the mission and values align with the personal and professional commitment I made when I left the public sector. Supporting an organization focused on serving youth for 12+ years no matter what fills my cup and revitalizes me in a similar way teaching did. Now that I am no longer in the classroom, I look forward to the opportunity to stay connected to organizations that serve youth. Please join us in welcoming Anne, Kristen, and Alexis!
