Staff: Gresha Shuster

Gresha is a first-generation college graduate who comes from a Ukrainian-Jewish refugee family. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and originally from Maryland. He moved to Portland after his service, where he attended Portland State University and got his degree in psychology. Gresha appreciates FriendsPDX's research-based approach. It is also unique in that from the top down, it feels like a big extended family. He values how the change created from the program and the effect on the community is long lasting, deep, and powerful. Outside of being a mentor; Gresha loves spending time with his two kids, hiking with his dog, and bouldering.
