Friends of the Children-Portland is collaborating with the Portland Thorns in celebration of FriendsPDX’s 30th anniversary. You can purchase discounted tickets to the Saturday, September 30th match versus San Diego Wave, and a portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit Friends of the Children – Portland. Our goal is 300 tickets sold, and fans can choose between general admission or a special 200-level section. All tickets are under $25 each. The playing field will include members of this year’s Women’s World Cup soccer team, including Crystal Dunn and Sophia Smith from the Portland Thorns and Alex Morgan and Naomi Girma from the San Diego Wave. Friends of the Children-Portland sponsor partner, iQ credit union, has gifted $2000 for youth/mentor tickets, granting access to attend. “Through our Stand Together platform, the Timbers and Thorns FC are excited to collaborate with Friends of the Children.
