July 15, 2020 School Supply Drive From July 6 until August 21 About Friends of the Children–Portland Through the power of relationships, Friends of the Children–Portland addresses critical societal challenges and drives greater equity, justice and connection for the youth in our community who need us the most. Friends of the Children–Portland currently provides over 500 youth with salaried, professional mentors for their entire childhood, from kindergarten through high school graduation. Host a School Supply Drive 2020 has changed the way our youth learn. They still need supplies, and our mentors are helping with distance learning in the best way they know-how. Our kids will need supplies for digital learning or when they return to the classrooms. Please help by hosting a drive for our youth in this uncertain educational year. Need Other Ideas? Gift certificates to Fred Meyer, Bi-Mart, Amazon or any stores with school supplies.
